03 / A CLEAR RECOMMENDATION
Not every pane
should be
restored.
GSR assesses suitability before recommending the work. Where restoration is unsuitable or uneconomic, that matters just as much as knowing when it can help.
Glass type & surface characteristics
Some acoustic automotive glass, manufacturer specifications and surface coatings can make restoration unsuitable. Older glazing with applied films or coatings needs particular care.
Damage location & access
Damage too close to the frame may not be suitable for restoration. Close-up photos and a wider view help establish what needs to be inspected.
Scope & practical value
Very small isolated panes can be uneconomic to restore. GSR considers the overall scope, location and travel when assessing a project.
What photographs can establish
Photos support an initial assessment. They do not establish a guaranteed result; an inspection may be needed before work is recommended.
04 / HOW THE WORK STARTS

Useful information first. An informed recommendation next.
